Indian Cricketing Debacle: Astro Analysis

Indian Cricketing Debacle: Astro Analysis

When Mahendra Singh Dhoni took charge of captaincy of Indian cricket team in World Cup 20-20 match in 2007, he brought in a new approach to the game. His composed and cool behavior on the ground earned him the title of Mr. Cool. He became a darling to crores of Indian fans 50% of whom are below 25 years of age. His popularity gave him a larger than life image. But, his approach in the current world cup 20-20 match seems mired in controversies. What went wrong this time?

I have been emphasizing in my articles earlier that Saturn’s transit in Leo rashi unsettles people who are placed on top and helps the underdogs. We saw this trend very clearly during the IPL matches when The Rajasthan royals, the ruling champions of 2008 lost the cup. The weakest team of last year Deccan chargers won the cup defeating all the contenders. The Indian cricket team approached the 2009, 20-20 world cup as defending Champions. They failed to pass the test of Saturn. It is said that Saturn is a teacher who doesn’t favor arrogance.

When Indian premier league was formally announced and the corporates were bidding for players, it seemed that players in coming times will play mainly for money and national interests will take a backseat. We noticed that 2 players of Indian cricket team did not even bother to collect the Padma Shree awards from the President of India. The media reported that one of the cricketers was busy shooting ad films.

According to India’s coach Gary Kirsten "We had a bunch of cricketers who arrived quite tired. We have had a demanding schedule and we never got ourselves to the required intensity for the standard and quality of the international game, which is higher than IPL. We weren't an energetic team”

Now the question arises are we not allowing our national pride go down for the self interest of players, board and IPL franchisee holders. This needs thorough debate.

India is passing through the dasa of Venus till September 2009. Venus in Vedic astrology refers to glamour industry and grace of Maa Lakshmi (Goddess of wealth). Indian cricketers have been richly endowed by glamour as well as rewarded with high fees. No other sport except cricket has got so much of attention and fan following in our country. It seems that cricketers have forgotten that they are supported and loved in this country because they perform for India and not because they perform for self.

Learned teach us that to reap abundance in life, one need to follow his / her life purpose. The life purpose supports him financially. However, the limitation with people is that they forget to keep a proper balance between the purpose of life and desire for money. The result is that we tend to lose our life purpose as well as money and self esteem. It is a warning for our cricket team that cricket is not for those who value their personal growth more than the growth of the team. India is ruled by Saturn, who can lift a person to top instantly. But, act of ego, arrogance and greed may cause instant fall also.

Indian cricket team was overflowing with talent. There were some debatable selection of players and their batting order. Tried and Tested players were asked to bat after inexperienced players that made India have shameful exit. The world champions of 2007 were not able to win even a single match in three super eight matches, because of the captains 'I-am-too-big-for-my-boots' attitude.

Hope Indian cricket team especially Mahendra Singh Dhoni learns from this debacle and play for India’s glory when they tour West Indies.

Are Indians Global Hate Targets?: Astro analysis

In colonial India many British clubs posted notices that dogs and Indians are not allowed in the club. That was the time when India was subservient to foreign rule and the British wanted to keep the Indians under their feet.
The situation changed in the midnight of 15th August 1947 when India was re-born and it got its new horoscope. From 1947 onwards the country passed through the Mahadasa’s of Saturn, Mercury and Ketu during which the country could not make rapid progress. However, in the Mahadasa of Venus from 12th September 1989 onwards the country made exemplary strides.
India is right now passing through the last antardasa of Venus, to be precise, the antardasa of Venus / Ketu till 12th September 2009. In my last article “The Second Innings of Dr. Manmohan Singh.” I stated that “the problems emerging in foreign lands relating to economic, political or social problems of ethnic Indians will continue to affect the country”.
The ending antardasa in any Mahadasa is commonly known as “dasa chhidra”. This is the period when the planets prepare us for the next Mahadasa. From 12th September 2009 the Mahadasa of Sun is starting as per the horoscope of India. Sun will help India to become a power to be reckoned with. But, superpower status is not achieved by being dependent on others.
As per Vedic astrology, the Mahadasa of Sun placed in the 3rd house is good. India is also going to benefit for which foundations have already been laid. India has voted for a stable government. At the helm of affairs is nationally endorsed Dr. Manmohan Singh, leading the country as Prime Minister. The Mahadasa of Sun will pass through the regime of Dr. Manmohan Singh. Destiny is preparing India for a bigger role and it is ready to take-off. This may be a thing of envy for others. It is getting reflected in global hate for Indians.
We, as Indians have to value our own resources and rely on our own talent. We should not waste our valuable foreign exchange to enrich other countries. The ending Mahadasa of Venus / Ketu intend to teach us an important lesson. We have to utilize our resources in such a way which can enhance our national pride.
The Mahadasa of Venus that passed for 20 years on India, bestowed great financial strength on the country. Foreign exchange reserves improved substantially. Whether the world community likes it or dislikes it, the time of India has arrived. India is the largest democracy in the world and it has successfully concluded the general election to the Lok Sabha in 2009 under the shadow of terrorist threats.
Indians have also proved their managerial capabilities by moving the IPL matches lock, stock and barrel to South Africa. Cricketers from every country were given equal chance in these matches. However, what happened in Australia with Indian students is a different story which is sad. There have been attacks in London on a Sikh temple. Air France's recent discrimination on Indian passengers has also been noted. More than four attacks on Indian students in Australia in a month have taken place. The students who went to study in Australia were forced to fight for their security under the umbrella of “Federation of Indian Students in Australia”.
Fingers were also raised in South Africa during IPL matches when the coaching staff of Kolkata Knight Rider’s team misbehaved with Indian players on alleged racial grounds. They should have noted that the organizers of the IPL matches were Indians. A student studying in USA in the state of Mississippi was also beaten black and blue and was reported to be in coma.
The coming Mahadasa of Sun makes it necessary for India and Indians to rise up and learn to achieve the status of a superpower. Change of mindset of the Government and the people is a must to achieve that status. India has to learn this before it’s too late.
Our country has a very large consumer market and every other country wants to take advantage of this market. Even superpowers are coming here to earn. But, they should also show friendly gestures. The norms have been violated many times in recent days. It is for the government to take note of these outrageous violations because India is much different today than it was in the 1960’s and 1970’s.
We admire Amitabh Bachchan for refusing to take honor from Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia. Such moves will help in restoration of our national pride.

The Second Innings of Dr. Manmohan Singh: Astro Analysis

We publish our important articles here.

The Second Innings of Dr. Manmohan Singh: Astro Analysis

After the UPA government won the 2009 general elections, Dr. Manmohan Singh was reappointed as the Prime Minister of India on May 22, 2009, making him the first Indian Prime Minister since Jawaharlal Nehru to return to power after completing a full five-year term.

The UPA government was sworn on 22nd May 2009 at 06:30 PM in the Ashoka Hall of Rastrapati Bhawan, New Delhi. The lagna chosen was Scorpio. Being a fixed sign, it represents stable government at the centre. Saturn in the 10th house indicates that the new government means business. It will push development agenda further.

The placement of Jupiter in the 4th house and aspect of Saturn on the 4th house (own house) indicates that the government at the centre is stable and will last its full term.

However, the placement of retrograde Mercury in the 7th house indicates that allies will keep on posing problems for the Government by making irrational demands. Keeping the flock together will be the biggest work for congress.

The placement of Ketu in the 9th house indicates that foreign policy will be the main area of focus for the government till September 2010. The problems emerging in foreign lands relating to economic, political or social problems of ethnic Indians will continue to affect the country.

Challenges before Manmohan Singh:-

Health:

Manmohan Singh has a history of heart ailment and underwent coronary bypass surgery in 1990 and angioplasty in 2004. Singh also underwent a second bypass surgery at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on 24 January 2009. Health can be a concern for him in the present tenure as the Prime Minister of India. Astrologically, placement of Moon in the sixth house is not very good for the health prospects of the Head of state in astrology.

Security Threats and Neighborhood Environment:

Apart from the threats from the Western front especially from Jihadi terrorists, India also faces threats from China. The Chinese have constructed ports in Kyauk Phyu in Burma, Hambantota in Sri Lanka and Gwadar in Pakistan which can be easily converted into naval bases. Saturn’s transit in Leo rashi will keep security personnel always on toes. The Maoists have already spread their influence in the north in Nepal and Tamil problem is still alive in the south in Sri Lanka. With 78 member ministry, the present Government is expected to keep an eye on these matters and selection of S.M. Krishna, Shashi Tharur and Parmeeta Kaur for this job looks good.

Economic Problems and Creation of New jobs:

The world is passing through tough economic patch. Corporates are making losses. Economic slowdown syndrome is all pervasive. There are job cuts in all major sectors in the world. India today is directly affected by the problems of the west. The retrogression of 11th lord Mercury indicates that government has to spend a lot to help the economy come out of problems. There shall be depletion in the foreign exchange reserve in the country. There will be a decline in the revenue of the government as well. Fiscal problems will be a big concern. Since he is the architect of liberalized economy, the pace of growth will be good despite all odds. The Mahadasa of Sun will start in the horoscope of India from 12th September 2009. Hence, Government will have to take initiative to create new jobs. They cannot depend on private sector alone to create more jobs.

The UPA government under the leadership of Manmohan Singh is likely to complete its full term. However, if the health of Manmohan Singh deteriorates, he may step down as Prime Minister of the country.

Chiranjeevi and Vijaykanth- Electoral Fortunes: Astro Analysis

We publish our important articles here.

Chiranjeevi and Vijaykanth- Electoral Fortunes: Astro Analysis

Chiranjeevi founded Praja Rajyam as a regional political party in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India on August 26, 2008.

The party contested all 40 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh and lost all of them. It won in 18 of 294 assembly seats. The party leader, Chiranjeevi contested two assembly seats Tirupathi and Palacole in his native West Godavari district, and lost the Palacole election. It polled 15 % votes and is believed to have affected the victory chances of TDP in many seats. It came second in 31 assembly seats and three Lok Sabha seats.

Chiranjeevi was born on 22nd August 1955 at 10:10 AM in Narsapur. In Chiranjeevi’s horoscope Libra is the rising Lagna, Vedic Sun sign is Leo and Moon sign is Virgo. The birth Nakshatra is Chitra 2nd pada. There is formation of Hamsha yoga (exalted Jupiter in Kendra) and Sasa yoga (exalted Saturn in Lagna). Both, these yogas are “Panch Mahapurusha yoga” meaning yogas which make a person dignified. However, Saturn and Jupiter both are getting debilitated (weak) in Navamsha chart. Hence, the promise of major political gains was diluted.

The 7th lord in Chiranjeevi’s horoscope is Mars that happens to be placed with the Lagna lord Venus in the house of gains (11th house). Hence, Praja Rajyam party under his leadership can grow up as a more dominating party after June 2012 when the Mahadasa of Mercury starts in the horoscope of Chiranjeevi. However, Chiranjeevi should learn the art of alliance to have a say in the next assembly election. His horoscope suggests gains from alliances.

Vijaykanth was born on 25th August 1952 in Madurai. The time of birth is not available. Hence, assessment has been made from natal Moon. In his horoscope the Sun sign is Leo, Moon sign is Virgo and birth Nakshatra is Chitra 2nd pada.

Vijaykanth formed Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK). He formally announced party formation on September 14, 2005 at Madurai. The party head office is in Koyambedu, Chennai.

This party contested all 234 seats in the state elections in May 2006 with Vijayakanth contesting in Vridhachalam. The party polled almost 3 million votes which were about 10% of the total votes cast. This was surprisingly a very good show for a new party. However, the total votes did not translate into assembly seats. All the candidates of the DMDK with the exception of Mr.Vijaykanth lost the elections in 2006.

DMDK contested all 39 seats independently in Tamil Nadu in the 15th Lok Sabha election in 2009 and lost all of them. The party, however, made strong inroads in the heartland of Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK). The party polled 30.52 lakh votes of the total of 3.02 crore valid votes polled in the state representing roughly a vote share of 10.09 %.

Though his party did not win any seat, it appears to have made the difference between margin of victory or loss in case of many candidates. Well established party PMK has been seriously affected.

Here, the point to be noted is that Sun sign, Moon sign and birth Nakshatra of both Chiranjeevi and Vijaykanth are same. However, the difference is that there are rajya yogas and Panch Mahapurusha yoga’s in the horoscope of Chiranjeevi that is giving him and edge over Vijaykanth.

The seventh lord from Moon in case of Vijaykanth is Jupiter that happens to be placed in the 8th house. This indicates that his party is not able to forge ahead because of lack of alliances. However, DMDK will be able to do well if Vijaykanth is able to bring in Rajnikanth in his party. If either the AIADMK or DMK lose hold in the state, he will be a direct beneficiary.

Mahinda Rajapaksha and Terror Free Sri Lanka: Astro Analysis

We publish our important articles here.

Mahinda Rajapaksha and Terror Free Sri Lanka: Astro Analysis

Mahinda Rajapaksa will be known in history as a president who brought an end to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) and its chief Velupillai Prabhakaran.

Soon after the reports of Sri Lankan army’s win over LTTE Sri Lanka's president declared his country "liberated from separatist terror" on Tuesday. The state television broadcasted images of the Tamil Tiger rebel leader's body after it was recovered from the battlefield.

But in his victory address to parliament, President Mahinda Rajapaksa appeared to reach out to the minority Tamils, for whom the rebels had said they were trying to carve out a homeland. He also seemed to promise a power-sharing agreement with them.

"Our intention was to save the Tamil people from the cruel grip of the (rebels). We all must now live as equals in this free country," he said, briefly speaking in the Tamil language.

Mahinda Rajapaksa was born on 18th November 1945 in Weeraketiya. Moon was placed in Aries rashi and birth Nakshatra was Ashvini. Time of birth is not very certain, hence astrological analysis has been done from natal Moon.

Venus is placed in the 7th house in own sign in the horoscope indicating that his wife will be beautiful. Shiranthi Wickremesinghe, his wife was Miss Sri Lanka in 1978 and also represented Sri Lanka at the Miss World Contest. This justifies our analysis from Moon.

The most important combination that draws my attention is placement of Rahu in the 3rd house from Moon. This placement means that the president is courageous and a tough decision maker.

Mars and Saturn combination in the 4th house indicates the strong resolve to fight militancy. However, this conjunction also indicates that there can be safety concerns for him. Mars and Saturn combination in 4th house does give danger from conveyance.

Aries rashi gives him a strong temperament and qualities of commander in chief. He knows that terror can be countered not by talks but by strong military action. As per numerology also the date of birth 1+8 adds up to 9 which represent Mars.

His date of birth add up to 1+8+1+1+1+9+4+5 = 30 which adds up to 3+0= 3 which represents Jupiter; hence in future he will prove to be a sound administrator as well. In all likelihood he would work for the betterment and honor of the Tamilian immigrants in Sri Lanka.

The challenges before Mahinda Rajapaksa will be immense in times to come. The entire world will watch out how the president will win the confidence of Tamilians of Sri Lanka. Because, if he fails to do so, there can be birth of yet another rebel in Sri Lanka.

Military action can stop the menace of rebellion only for sometime. However, it is very important for him to address the issues which saw the rise of Velupillai Prabhakaran and Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). The issues are discrimination with Tamils, lack of education and employment for them and their treatment as inferior citizens.

The Government of India is extending financial support for rehabilitation of Tamils in war affected areas. Hope India and Sri Lanka work together for betterment of Tamilians in Sri Lanka. Mahinda Rajapaksa became Member of Parliament at the tender age of 24 years and he has enough experience to understand the main issue behind the Tamil problem.
